The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) released the schedule today for the 2023/24 CSSHL Western Divisions, which is set to start September 10, 2023.
The 2023/24 Western Division season will see the addition of STAR Academy at the U15 level and the Wenatchee Wild in the U17 and U18 Prep divisions. Five CSSHL member programs were granted expansion for the 2023/24 season including Coeur d’Alene Academy (Coeur d’ Alene, ID), North Shore Warriors (West Vancouver, BC), Notre Dame (Wilcox, SK), Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (Victoria, BC), and South Alberta Hockey Academy (Medicine Hat, AB).
Three U.S.A. programs, Fairmont San Juan Capistrano, Okanagan Hockey Colorado, and St. Mary’s High School, will make guest appearances at CSSHL showcases this season.
The four western provinces will all be represented this year at the Female U18 Prep level as 13 teams from 11 different CSSHL member programs will compete in the 2023/24 season.
With the addition of Wenatchee, the U18 Prep division now sits at a total of 20 teams competing across the four western provinces and two states (Idaho/Washington) in the U.S.A.
With the U16 Prep and U17 Prep division merging into one for the 2023/24 season, 33 teams from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Idaho and Washington will face-off this season at the U17 Prep level.
With no new additions for the 2023/24 season, the U15 Prep division remains the third largest in the CSSHL, with 17 teams from all four western provinces.
Notre Dame, Pacific Coast, and STAR Academy all join the U15 division for the 2023/24 season, bringing the division to 13 teams across Alberta, B.C., and Washington.
The CSSHL regular season will see divisions conclude March 1-3, 2024 ahead of the annual CSSHL Championships.

The CSSHL Western Championships will take place in March 2023 in Penticton, BC. Full playoff schedules will be released at a later time.
