Former West Van Academy (North Shore Warriors) student-athlete Garrett Valk has committed to Long Island University for the 2023/24 season.
Valk spent the 2017/18 Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) season with the West Van Academy U16 Prep team. In 35 games the North Vancouver, BC defenseman recorded 4 goals and 9 assists.
Long Island University is an NCAA Division I program located in Brooklyn, NY.
