Calgary, AB product and Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete Makenna Stevens has committed to the University of Saskatchewan for the 2023/24 season.
Stevens has spent the last three seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). She joined the league in 2020/21 playing two seasons with the Edge School Female U18 Prep team. In 29 games she would record 12 points including a career high of 10 during the 2021/22 season.
The 2022/23 season saw Stevens join the OHA Female U18 Prep team. In 22 games Stevens would tally 9 assists. She would lead her team in assists (4) and points (5) during the 2023 CSSHL Western Championships as OHA made it to the semi-finals.
The University of Saskatchewan is located in Saskatoon, SK, competing in the Canada West U SPORTS division.
