Johnson Commits to Harvard University

Former St. George’s School student-athlete Cameron Johnson has committed to Harvard University for the 2023/24 season.

The Vancouver, BC forward spent three seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with St. George’s. He joined the program in 2017/18 for the U15 season. In 30 games he would record 24 goals and 34 assists. He would add six points in three playoff games as St. George’s were named 2018 CSSHL U15 Western Champions.

During the 2018/19 campaign Johnson would finish third in team and eighth in league scoring as he finished with 55 points in 30 games. Following his successful offensive campaign  the Kamloops Blazers selected him in the fourth round, 86th overall at the 2019 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft.

Johnson would return to the CSSHL for one last season in 2019/20. In 33 U16 games he would lead all skaters with 49 assists and 78 points. Johnson would record seven points in two playoff games before the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic ended the remainder of the 2020 CSSHL Western Championships.

Located in Cambridge, MA, Harvard University is a private Ivy League NCAA Division I program competing in the ECAC Conference.
