Former West Van Academy (North Shore Warriors) student-athlete Brandon Buhr has committed to Union College for the 2023/24 NCAA season.
The Burnaby, BC forward spent two seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with West Van Academy. He would join the program in 2017/18 at the U16 Prep level tallying a team high 25 goals while adding 11 assists, finishing third on his team with 36 points.
During the 2019/20 U18 Prep season Buhr would finish second on his team and fifth in league scoring with 71 points in 34 games.
Buhr would play 10 NCAA games for Clarkson University during the 2022/23 season before returning to Canada to finish his junior hockey career.
Located in Schenectady, NY, Union College is an NCAA Division I program competing in the ECAC Conference.
