The Kelowna Rockets have signed St. George’s School student-athlete Eli Barrett to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Barrett spent the last two Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) seasons with the St. George’s U15 Prep team. The White Rock, BC forward recorded 8 goals and 13 assists during the 2021/22 season. He would explode offensively in 2022/23 finishing fourth in league scoring with 73 points in 27 games. His 31 goals, 42 assists and 73 points were all tops among St. George’s skaters. Barrett would add six points in three playoff games at the 2023 CSSHL Western Championships.
The Rockets selected Barrett in the second round, 26th overall at the 2023 WHL Draft.
