Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes Devun Olfert and Mitchell Patrick have signed in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) with the Olds Grizzlys.
Olfert joined the CSSHL in 2018/19 with the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) U15 team, producing 5 points in 29 games. The West Kelowna, BC forward would return for one more season with OHA, tallying eight points in nine U16 Prep games.
In 2021/22 Olfert would join the Prairie Hockey Academy U17 Prep team. He would score 17 goals and assist 14 more in 34 games before adding 2 goals in 3 playoff games. This season he would record 7 goals and 10 assists in 19 U18 Prep games with Prairie.
A forward from Airdrie, AB, Patrick joined Edge School in 2020/21, assisting on one goal in six games. He would play the following season with the Edge U16 Prep team, tallying 15 goals and 17 assists in 34 games.
This season Patrick joined the Calgary International Hockey Academy U18 Prep team. In 28 games he would finish fourth in team scoring with 32 points in 28 games.
