Jason Spizawka signs with Victoria

The Victoria Royals have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Jason Spizawka to a standard Western Hockey League (WHL) Player Agreement.

Spizawka, 15, attended the Yale Hockey Academy this past season, registering 25 points (2-23-25) in 28 games with their Bantam Prep team, as well as being named the 2019 WHL CSSHL Scholastic Player of the Year.

The Victoria, B.C. product also appeared in five games at the 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships, helping his team capture the 2019 CSSHL Bantam Prep Championship.

Spizawka was selected by the Royals in the first round, 19th overall, at the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
