The Victoria Royals have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Ryan Spizawka to a standard Western Hockey League (WHL) Player Agreement.
Spizawka, 15, attended the Yale Hockey Academy this past season, registering 20 points (8-12-20) in 29 games with their Bantam Prep team.
The Victoria, B.C. product also appeared in five games at the 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships, helping his team capture the 2019 CSSHL Bantam Prep Championship.
Spizawka was selected by the Royals in the seventh round, 137th overall, at the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
