Former RHA Winnipeg Netminder Signs NHL Contract

Former RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg netminder Isaac Poulter has signed an NHL Entry Level Contract with the New Jersey Devils.

Poulter spent the 2016/17 and 2017/18 CSSHL seasons with the RHA Winnipeg U18 Prep team. In 29 games the Winnipeg, MB goalie recorded a 18-10-1 record, 5 shutouts, 2.29 GAA and .921 SV%.

In 2018/19 he would join the Swift Current Broncos, the team that selected him in the sixth round of the 2016 WHL Draft. In 4 WHL seasons Poulter played 137 games with a 35-87-12 record, 6 shutouts, .898 SV% and 3.76 GAA.

Last season Poulter would make the jump to the professional ranks, splitting the season between the Utica Comets in the AHL, and Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL.

This season Poulter has been a full time contributor with the Comets going 14-7-1 with 3 shutouts, a 2.70 GAA and .908 SV%.
