St. George’s School (0) vs BWC Academy Gold (6) U17 Prep
Noah Sinagowitz (24/24) made 24 saves for his fourth shutout of the season as BWC Academy Gold defeated St. George’s 6-0 Monday. Hunter Ashton, Kai Anderson and Jonathan Bitonti scored in the first while Javien Mann, Jonathan Lee and Nathan Tomcheck scored in the second. Imaree Dhaliwal (43/49) made 43 saves in the loss.
Yale Hockey Academy (6) vs North Shore Warriors (3) U18 Prep
Levi Benson (3G, 1A) recorded a hat-trick and Tommy Lafreniere (2G, 2A) added four points of his own as Yale defeated North Shore 6-3. Logan Flint scored the other Yale goal while Jacob Henderson (2A) and Grant Reid (2A) each had two assists. Deacon Drummond, Avery Hewson and Shane Purves (1G, 1A) scored for North Shore in the loss.
RHA Kelowna Black (5) vs Delta Hockey Academy Green (3) U17 Prep
Aidan Fisher (1G, 1A) scored the lone first period goal on the power play and Lukas Lima replied with a power play goal of his own in the second as the game was tied heading into the third. Kiran Fedun (2G) started the period with 2 goals in a span of 35 seconds, 1:29 into the period. Dalton Toma (2G) brought Delta Green within one less than three minutes later, before Owen Downey (1G, 1A) and Brady Walker replied with two quick goals of their own. Toma would score again late in the third but it wasn’t enough to overcome a 25 save effort from Louis Gu (25/28). Ashton Thornton (35/40) made 35 saves in the loss.
Wenatchee Wild vs Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy U17 Prep
Wenatchee opened the scoring when Armaan Punn found the back of the net 4:53 into the game. The lead was short lived as Cam Soenen (1G, 1A) responded 1:57 later. Tanner Livingston (1G, 1A) and Preston Peterson scored midway through the second as CDA grabbed a 3-1 lead heading into the third. But Cal Kellenberg and Colton Christopher each found the back of the net to tie the game, eventually forcing a shootout. In the shootout Owen Bambrick and Peterson each scored and Austin Neill (33/36) stopped two of the three Wenatchee shooters to give CDA the 4-3 win.
Bishop’s College School (5) vs Ulysse Academie (4) Eastern U18
Maverick Roux-Parenteau (2G, 1A) and Tristan Gagnon traded first period goals 1:27 apart early in the game. Marco Campo (1G, 1A) restored the Ulysse lead early in the third before Logan Charby (1G, 1A), Simon Picard (1G, 1A) and Alexi Gachelin countered for Bishop’s. Roux-Parenteau brought Ulysse back within one but Patrick Lambe (1G, 1A) quickly responded for Bishop’s. Clement Valette (1G, 3A) scored a late goal for Ulysse but they were unable to beat DJ Patriss (35/39) again and find the equaliser.
