UBC Adds CSSHL Pair

The University of British Columbia women’s hockey team has added a pair of Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Defenseman Jaylyn Morris has spent the last five seasons in the CSSHL with Delta Hockey Academy. The Maple Ridge, BC product joined the program in 2018/19, spending two seasons with the Delta Female U17 team. In 46 games she would record 20 points.

Morris would suit-up for the Delta Female U18 Prep team for the next three seasons, tallying 14 points in 2021/22 and a team high among defensemen 22 points in 30 games this season. Her season would earn her a nomination for the CSSHL Female U18 Prep Top Defenseman Award.

Hanna Perrier joined the CSSHL for the 2020/21 season, spending two seasons with the Edge School Female U18 Prep team. During the 2021/22 season she would tally 11 goals and 8 assists in 27 games.

This season the Calgary, AB forward would play 29 games for the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) Female U18 Prep team, finishing fifth in points with 20.
