The Soo Thunderbirds have signed Okanagan Hockey Ontario (OHO) U18 Prep defenseman Lucas Whitehead for the 2022/23 Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) season.
Whitehead spent the 2021/22 season in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the OHO U18 Prep team. In 10 games in the CSSHL Eastern Division the Barrie, ON product recorded 1 goal and 9 assists.
