November Players of the Month

The CSSHL has announced the seven division winners of the November Player of the Month.

U15: Daniel Makovetskiy – STAR Academy

Makovetskiy currently sits fourth in division scoring with 32 points in 12 games. Seven of those goals and five of the assists came in four games in November, including a hat-trick on November 18 against Yale Hockey Academy. The Renton, Washington forward is in his first season in the CSSHL.

U15 Prep: Ben Harvey – Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX)

A forward from Edmonton, AB, Harvey had four goals and seven assists in five games in November. This season Harvey sits tied for fourth in CSSHL scoring with 28 points in 13 games. Harvey was part of the 2023 CSSHL U15 Prep Western Championship winning NAX team, posting 33 points in 35 regular season and playoff games.

U17 Prep: Keagan Lundie – BWC Academy Gold

After just 2 points in 4 games in October, Lundie exploded offensively with 6 goals and 11 assists in 8 games in November. The North Vancouver, BC defenseman’s best game came against his former team, tallying two goals and three assists against North Shore on November 11. Lundie played two seasons with the North Shore U15 Prep team, tallying 22 points in 49 games.

U18 Prep: Landon DuPont – Edge School

DuPont currently sits second amongst all U18 Prep defensemen with 20 points in just 10 games. The 2009 born defender, who is eligible for the 2024 WHL Draft, had five goals and seven assists in six games in November.  This is DuPont’s second season with Edge School, recording 47 points in 27 U15 Prep games last season.

Female Prep: Megs Thiessen – Edge School

The Brock University commit went 3-0-0 in November with a .964 SV%, .667 GAA and 1 shutout. On the season the Calgary, AB netminder is 5-3-0 with a .922 SV%, 2.21 GAA and 1 shutout. This is Thiessen’s second season in the CSSHL with Edge School.

Eastern U17: Shane Delamaire – Mount Academy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delamaire currently sits second in the Eastern U17 Prep division with 17 points in 11 games. The Dieppe, NB forward scored once and added three assists in two games in November.

Eastern U18: Thorvald Naess – Ontario Hockey Academy Gold

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Stavanger, Norway forward tallied five goals and two assists in four games in the month of November. Naess currently has 13 points in 11 CSSHL games this season.
