Former Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) and current Victoria Royals forward Cole Reschny has been named the November CSSHL WHL Alumni Player of the Month.
In the month of November Reschny played 8 games, tallying 7 goals and 5 assists, including his first WHL hat-trick against the Kamloops Blazers on November 28. For his efforts, the Macklin, SK forward was named the WHL Rookie of the Month. This season, his 26 points in 24 games is third amongst all WHL rookies, behind CSSHL alumni Terik Parascak (43) and Gavin McKenna (29).
Prior to his time in the WHL, Reschny spent two seasons in the CSSHL with the NAX U15 Prep team. During the 2021/22 season he would lead all skaters with 40 goals. His 92 points in 25 games was second most in the league, while his 3.68 Pts/GP was a league best. At the conclusion of the season Reschny would be named CSSHL U15 Prep Division MVP, leading to the Royals selecting him third overall at the 2022 WHL Draft.
