Kodiaks Sign Ahn, Miller

The Camrose Kodiaks have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes Jeremy Ahn and Rhett Miller for the 2023/24 Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) season.

A forward from Calgary, AB, Ahn spent five seasons in the CSSHL with Edge School. Joining the team in 2018/19, Ahn would record 19 points in 29 U15 games. The following U15 Prep season he would tally 12 points in 30 games. In 2020/21 Ahn would finish with five points in five U16 Prep games.

2021/22 would be a breakout season for Ahn as he finished fifth in league scoring with 74 points in 31 games. His 55 assists and 74 points led all Edge U17 Prep skaters that season. This past season Ahn played in just 13 U18 Prep games but finished with 5 goals and 11 assists. He would add four points in five playoff games as Edge captured the 2023 CSSHL U18 Prep Western Championships.

Miller spent two seasons in the CSSHL with Okanagan Hockey Academy. The Olds, AB forward would record 14 points in 9 U16 Prep games during the 2020/21 season. The following year he would lead OHA Black U17 Prep with 21 goals, 38 assists and 59 points in 32 games. His 59 points put him ninth in league scoring.

This season Miller played in six AJHL games with the Grande Prairie Storm, recording one assist as an affiliate player.
