Justin Ivanusec has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreements (SPA) with the Vancouver Giants after being selected in the fourth round, 79th overall, in the 2021 WHL Draft.
Ivanusec is in his third Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) season, and second with BWC Academy. The Delta, BC forward joined the CSSHL in 2019/20, tallying 47 points in 26 U15 games with West Van Academy, helping the program win a CSSHL U15 League Championship. He would join BWC Academy the following season, finishing with eight goals and seven assists in six U15 Prep games. This season Ivanusec has tallied 6 goals and 6 assists in 15 U18 Prep games.
