Tij Iginla has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreements (SPA) with the Seattle Thunderbirds after being selected in the first round, 9th overall, in the 2021 WHL Draft.
Iginla is in his first Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) season with RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna. In 13 U18 Prep games the Calgary, AB forward has tallied 8 goals and 6 assists.
Tij is the son of NHL Hall of Famer and former Calgary Flames captain, Jarome Iginla.
