Hauser signs with Winnipeg

The Winnipeg Ice have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Daniel Hauser to a standard Western Hockey League (WHL) Player Agreement.

Hauser, 15, attended the Edge School this past season, where he posted a 9-12-0 record in 23 appearances, along with a 3.00 goals-against average, .911 save-percentage and two shutouts.

In three appearances at the 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships, the Chestermere, Alta. product had a 2-1-0 record with a 3.67 goals-against average and a .903 save-percentage.

Hauser also appeared in one game with the Edge School Elite 15 team during the 2018-19 season, stopping 43-of-46 shots faced in the contest.

The five-foot-eight goaltender was selected by the Ice in the sixth round, 120th overall, at the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
