Four CSSHL Student-Athletes Selected at QMJHL Draft

Four Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes have been selected at the 2023 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) Draft.

Notre Dame U16 Prep forward Alec Nasreddine was selected in the fourth round, 67th overall by the Halifax Mooseheads. The Mountside, NJ product finished third in team scoring this season with 28 points in 31 games. 

A defenseman from Chelsea, QC, Quinlan Parry was selected in the 10th round, 172nd overall by the Chicoutimi Sagueneens. In 11 Eastern U17 division games with Ontario Hockey Academy Parry had 2 goals and 1 assist. 

Noah Cziment spent the 2022/23 Eastern U17 season with the Mount Academy U16 team. In eight games he tallied four goals and four assists. His point-per-game pace led all skaters on his team. Acadie-Bathurst Titan selected the forward in the 10th round, 176th overall.

Acadie-Bathurst selected another Mount Academy student-athlete in the 13th round, 221st overall when they drafted Ethan Anderson. The Stratford, PEI defender recorded two points in nine Eastern U17 games with the Mount Academy U17 team.
