The Saskatoon Blades and Zach Olsen have agreed to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Olsen was selected by the Blades in the second round, 29th overall at the 2023 WHL Draft. The Calgary, AB forward recorded 34 points in 30 Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) U15 Prep games during the 2022/23 season with Edge School. He would add an additional four points in four playoff games as Edge made it to the semi-finals of the 2023 CSSHL Western Championships.
