Former CSSHL Forwards Commit to Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Former Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) forwards Jayden Davis and Finlay Williams have committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Davis spent two seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with Edge School. Selected in the third round, 66th overall by the Medicine Hat Tigers in the 2018 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft, Davis tallied 36 points in 26 U16 Prep games during the 2018/19 season. He would follow that up with 45 points in 26 U18 Prep games during the 2019/20 season with Edge School.

He would join the Spruce Grove Saints for the 2020/21 Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) season, tallying 15 points in 16 games. Now in his first full AJHL season, the Calgary, AB forward would record 54 points in 48 games while being named to the AJHL North All-Rookie Team.

Williams played for BWC Academy for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. In 29 U15 Prep games he would record 32 points, leading to the Swift Current Broncos selecting the North Vancouver, BC native in the third round, 54th overall in the 2018 WHL Draft. Williams would score 12 goals and 30 assists in 32 U18 Prep games the following season, before joining the Prince George Spruce Kings in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for the 2019/20 campaign, tallying 31 points in 40 games. He would join the Penticton Vees in 2020/21, spending the last two seasons as their captain while recording 55 points in 42 games.
