Three-year Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athlete Janelle Evans has committed to Robert Morris University for the 2023/24 season.
Evans joined the CSSHL in 2019/20 with the Okanagan Hockey Academy Female U18 Prep team. In 23 games the Bethune, SK forward tallied 8 goals and 6 assists.
During the 2021/22 season Evans would join the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna Female U18 Prep team, She would finish the season with 26 points in 23 regular season games before adding 6 points in 5 playoff games as RHA Kelowna captured the 2022 CSSHL Female U18 Prep Western Championship.
This season Evans finished second in team and fifth in league scoring with 42 points in 30 games. Her 35 assists were a team high, second most in the CSSHL. Evans would again add six points in five playoff games as RHA Kelowna captured back-to-back CSSHL Female U18 Prep Western Championships.
Robert Morris University is an NCAA Division I program located in Moon Township, PA. The team competes in the College Hockey America (CHA) Conference.
