Edge School student-athlete Owen Mastroianni has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Shortly after signing, Mastroianni made his WHL debut with the Oil Kings on December 8 against the Medicine Hat Tigers. The Golden. BC forward was selected in the 11th round, 241st overall at the 2022 WHL Draft.
Mastroianni joined Edge for the 2020/21 U15 season, tallying two points in three games. The following year he would play 30 U15 Prep games, tallying 11 goals and 20 assists.
Last season Mastroianni led the Edge School U17 Prep team with 19 goals, 27 assists and 46 points in 31 games. In 11 U18 Prep games this season Mastroianni has scored 5 goals and added 7 assists.
