The Prince George Cougars have signed Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) U18 Prep student-athlete Zackary Shantz to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement.
Shantz spent the 2020/21 season with the NAX U16 Prep team, scoring twice and adding two assists in three games. The Grande Prairie, AB forward was originally selected in the third round, 66th overall by the Cougars in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
