Yale Hockey Academy student-athlete Koray Bozkaya has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Medicine Hat Tigers.
The Tigers selected the Langley, BC defender in the third round, 53rd overall at the 2023 WHL Draft.
Bozkaya has played the last two seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with Yale. During the 2021/22 U15 season he would lead all CSSHL U15 defensemen with 38 points in 26 games while being named the divisions Top Defenseman Award Winner.
This season Bozkaya recorded 10 goals and 10 assists in 24 games with the Yale U15 Prep team.
