Shawnigan Lake School Female U18 Prep student-athlete Mikayla Boarder has committed to York University for the 2022/23 season.
Boarder is in her third Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) season with Shawnigan after joining the program in 2019/20. That season she would score 9 goals and add 10 assists in 24 games.
In 18 games this season, the Tri-Cities, Washington forward has a team and league best 19 goals and 39points. Her 20 assists are one off the Female U18 Prep division lead.
Located in Toronto, ON York University competes in the Ontario University Athletics conference of U SPORTS.
