The Moose Jaw Warriors have signed three Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes to Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreements (SPA).
Matthew Gallant, Harper Lolacher and Tate Schofer all signed with the Warriors at the conclusion of training camp.
Gallant has spent the last three years in the CSSHL, joining Delta Hockey Academy’s U15 Prep Green team in 2018/19. He would spend the next two years playing at the U18 Prep level for West Van Academy and Delta. In 69 CSSHL games the Langley, BC defenseman tallied 18 points.
Originally selected in the 11th round, 222 overall by Moose Jaw Warriors in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft, Lolacher played for the Notre Dame Hounds U15 Prep team in 2019/20. The 2005 Pilot Butte, SK forward scored 7 goals and added 9 assists in 27 games.
A 2004 born forward from Regina, SK, Schofer played the 2019/20 season with the Prairie Hockey Academy (PHA) U16 team. His 14 goals led PHA, while his 28 points in 34 games were second most.
