The Spruce Grove Saints have signed two CSSHL student-athletes ahead of the 2023/24 Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) season.
A forward from Briercrest, SK, Bryson Aikens has spent the last two seasons with Prairie Hockey Academy. During the 2021/22 U16 Prep campaign Aikens led his team with 24 goals and 41 points in 36 games. Aikens would once again lead his team in scoring in 2022/23, recording a team best 20 goals and 48 points in 33 U18 Prep games.
Nathan Hawkins joined South Alberta Hockey Academy for the 2022/23 U18 Prep season. In 25 games the Lethbridge, AB defenseman scored 2 goals while adding 10 assists.
