The Rockland Nationals have signed a pair of Candian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes for the 2022/23 Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) season.
Jordan Waite spent the 2021/22 season in the CSSHL Eastern Division with the Bourget College U18 team. In 31 games the Ste-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, QC forward would record 16 goals and 25 assists, good enough for third on his team and seventh in league scoring.
A netminder from Ajax, ON, Ben Grahame has played four seasons in the CSSHL. He joined the league in 2017/18, playing 17 games for Delta Hockey Academy’s U15 team. He would suit up for Yale Hockey Academy the following two campaigns, playing in 31 games at the U15 Prep and U16 Prep levels.
Grahame would join Okanagan Hockey Ontario’s (OHO) U18 Prep team for the 2021/22 season, recording a record of 9-6-0 with a 3.00 Goals Against Average (GAA), .918 Save Percentage (SV%) and 1 shutout. Grahame would post a .288 GAA and .922 SV% during the Eastern Division Playoffs, helping OHO reach the finals.
