RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg netminder Donavan Bodnar has signed a Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreement with the Portland Winterhawks.
Selected in the 7th round, 141st overall by the Winterhawks in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft, Bodnar is currently in his third season with RINK Winnipeg, and second with their U18 Prep team. Bodnar joined the program in 2019/20 with their U15 Prep team. In 25 Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) games the West St. Paul, MB product has recorded a 0.913 save percentage and 2.96 goals against average.
