OHA’s LeFranc signs with Spruce Kings

 

After four seasons with the Canadian Sport School Hockey League, Ben LeFranc has committed to the British Columbia Hockey League’s Prince George Spruce Kings for the 2020-21 season. 

The Penticton, BC product competed for Okanagan Hockey Academy Red’s U18 Prep team last season where he notched six goals and 12 assists (6-12-18) in 35 regular season games. 

In the 2018-19 campaign, the 2003 born student athlete wore a C on his jersey representing OHA’s U16 Prep team. He netted 10 goals and 12 assists (10-12-22) in 35 games. In the 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships, LeFranc added three goals and one assist (3-1-4) in five games. 

In 143 CSSHL career games, the five-foot-nine defenseman collected 21 goals and 43 assists (21-43-64).
