Reilly McKinnon has committed to SUNY Canton for the 2022/23 season.
The Trail, BC defenseman spent four seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA). In 2015/16 McKinnon joined the OHA U15 team, producing 4 points in 24 games. He would play 30 U16 Prep games the following year, tallying 9 points.
McKinnon would spend the next two years with the OHA U18 Prep teams, playing 49 games and recording 19 points.
In 2019/20 he would join the Drayton Valley Thunder in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), finishing with 8 points in 46 games. He would play just one game for the Thunder in 2020/21, before joining the Humboldt Broncos in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) for the 2021/22 season. In 56 games this season McKinnon had 3 goals and 16 assists.
