Whitecourt Wolverines forward Tyler Mahan has committed to the Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) Tigers.
The Calgary, AB native is in his third Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) season with the Whitecourt Wolverines, having recorded a team high 23 goals and 44 points in 38 games. Mahan had 22 points in 57 games his previous 2 AJHL seasons.
Prior to joining the Wolverines, Mahan spent the 2018/19 season with International Hockey Academy (IHA) in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). In 36 U18 Prep games Mahan lead his team in scoring with 45 points.
Located in the town of Henrietta in the Rochester, New York metropolitan area, the R.I.T. Tigers are a NCAA Division I program playing in the Atlantic Hockey Conference (AHA).
