Former Edge School student-athlete Brody Maguire has committed to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) for the 2023/24 season.
Maguire spent two seasons in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with Edge School. The Calgary, AB defenseman joined the Edge U16 Prep team for the 2019/20 season. In 35 games Maguire led all Edge defensemen with 9 goals and 26 points. The following U18 Prep season he would tally five points in six games.
In 2021/22 Maguire would join the Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), recording 20 points in 51 games. In 52 games this season with the Oilers Maguire finished with 2 goals and 15 assists.
RPI is an NCAA Division I program located in Troy, New York, playing in the ECAC Conference.
