The Grande Prairie Storm have signed a pair of former Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes for the 2021/22 season.
Evyn Hansen spent the 2019/20 season with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) U15 Prep team. In 28 games the Grande Prairie, AB forward scored 6 goals and added 3 assists.
Mikkel Hrechka played for Prairie Hockey Academy’s U17 Prep team for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 campaigns. He was named the CSSHL U17 Prep Most Sportsmanlike Player after tallying 20 points in 24 games in 2018/19. The Moose Jaw, SK defenseman finished the following season with 19 points in 24 games.
