The Grand Falls Rapids have signed Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete Elliot Marois ahead of the 2023/24 Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) season.
An 11th round pick, 197th overall by the Shawinigan Cataractes at the 2021 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) Draft, Marois spent the 2022/23 Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) Eastern U18 season with the OHA Prep team. In 14 games the Sherbrooke, QC defenseman would tally 1 goal and 9 assist.
Marois would add one assist in three playoff games at the 2023 CSSHL Eastern Championships.
