DeGraves set to play for Bandits

Three-year Canadian Sport School Hockey League student athlete Nicholas DeGraves will play for the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Brooks Bandits next season.

DeGraves, 17, attended OHA Edmonton the past two seasons, most recently competing on their U18 Prep team, where he netted 70 points (31-39-70) in 36 games during the 2019-20 season, as well as adding two points (1-1-2) in one game at the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships.

The Edmonton, Alta. product posted 37 points (11-26-37) in 34 games during the 2018-19 season with OHA Edmonton’s U16 Prep team.

DeGraves attended the Northern Alberta Xtreme during the 2017-18 season, where he competed on their U15 Prep team, collecting 31 points (9-22-31) in 30 games.

The 5-foot-10 forward was named to the 2019-20 CSSHL U18 Prep Division’s All-Academic Team.

DeGraves made his AJHL debut with the Bandits this past season, registering one assists in five games.
