Bishop’s College School and Ulysse Académie have been accepted into the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) as its 28th and 29th member for the 2023/24 season as voted by the league’s Board of Governors.
“The CSSHL is excited to add Bishops College and Ulysse Academy to our eastern division as we continue to expand and grow our league across North America,” said CSSHL Chairperson Andy Oakes. “It has been a recent goal of our league to grow the eastern division and the addition of these two programs is another step in the right direction.”
Located in Sherbrooke, QC, Bishop’s College was founded in 1836 and is the fifth oldest private school in Canada. They will compete in the Eastern U18 division for the 2023/24 season.
“We are excited to be part of the CSSHL as it will allow our student-athletes to continue their growth and development and provide them great exposure within our province and country. We look forward to working with and being part of the CSSHL,” said Marco Pietroniro, the Hockey Director of Bishop’s College School.
Ulysse Académie is located in Terrebonne, QC just outside of Montreal. Founded in 2007, Ulysse Académie will compete in the Eastern U18 division for the 2023/24 season.
“The Ulysse Académie program is proud to join the CSSHL for the 2023/24 season. The values, culture and philosophy of the league match ours and we are looking forward to our new adventure,” said Director of Hockey Operations Denis Chalifoux.
