The Regina Pats have signed a pair of CSSHL defensemen to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements.
Ryder Dunn joined Delta Hockey Academy in 2022/23 for the U15 Prep season, posting 13 points in 18 games. The following U15 Prep season he would record 30 points in 26 games as he was named a BC Division First Team All-Star. The Pats would go on to select the Richmond, BC product in the seventh round of the 2024 WHL Draft.
This past season Dunn played for the Delta U18 Prep team, recording 17 points in 35 games.
A defenseman from Calgary, AB, Charlie Leonard has signed with the Pats after they selected him in the second round of the 2025 WHL Draft. Leonard joined Edge School for the 2023/24 CSSHL U15 Prep season, tallying 15 points in 27 games. This season he would play 34 games for Delta Hockey Academy, tallying 34 points. After missing the first four games of the playoffs, he would return for the final, helping Delta capture the 2025 CSSHL U15 Prep Western Championship.
