Former CSSHL student-athletes Ryden Evers and Walker Filewich have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their respective teams.
Evers was initially undrafted to the WHL in 2020 but has signed with the Penticton Vees ahead of their expansion season. The Burnaby, BC forward spent four seasons in the CSSHL with BWC Academy. He would join the team in 2018/19, recording 32 points in 30 U15 games. The following U15 Prep season Evers tallied 30 points in 27 games. During the COVID-19 shortened 2020/21 season he would finish with nine points in five games. His final CSSHL season would come in 2021/22 as he posted 36 points in 24 games and helped BWC Academy capture the 2022 CSSHL U18 Prep Western Championship.
After being selected in the second round of the 2025 WHL Draft, Filewich has signed with the Calgary Hitmen. The St. Albert, AB forward played 27 U15 games for OHA Edmonton during the 2023/24 season, tallying 30 points in 27 games.
