Ohio State Adds Pair of Delta Student Athletes

The Ohio State Buckeyes women’s ice hockey team has added a pair of Delta Hockey Academy student-athletes for the 2021/22 season.

Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL) teammates Jamie Grinder and Madisyn Wiebe will head south to play for the Buckeyes who are an NCAA Division I hockey team competing in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA).

Grinder spent three seasons with Delta from 2018-2021, playing for their Female U18 Prep team. In 55 CSSHL games the Richmond, BC defenseman tallied 27 points.

Wiebe joined the Delta Female U18 Prep team this year for her lone season in the CSSHL. In six games the North Vancouver, BC forward scored one goal to go along with five assists.
