Former Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athlete Reece Nelson has committed to the University of Jamestown for the 2023/24 season.
Nelson joined the CSSHL in 2017/18 with the OHA Edmonton U16 Prep team. That season the Sherwood Park, AB forward would record 11 goals and 5 assists in 35 games.
He would join the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) U18 Prep White team in 2018/19, finishing with 8 goals and 9 assists in 33 games.
In 2019/20 Nelson would return to OHA Edmonton with their U18 Prep team. In 36 games he would score 3 goals and assist on 16 more.
Located in Jamestown, ND, the University of Jamestown is an ACHA Division I program.
