Mount names Anthony Head Coach of U18 Prep team

The Mount Academy Saints have announced Cody Anthony as the Head Coach of their U18 Midget Prep team for the 2020-21 season.

“I am excited to have Cody as the head coach of our U18 Prep team,” said Olivier Filion, Director of Boy’s Hockey at Mount Academy.” I know that Cody is taking this job with the mindset of developing these young men day in and day out. Our student athletes will learn a lot from his passion, work ethic and desire to get better everyday.”

Anthony brings a wealth of hockey knowledge and coaching experience to Mount Academy’s hockey program. The 26-year-old product of Shubenacadie, NS has four years of prep school coaching experience at both the U18 and U16 levels. Anthony served as an assistant coach for two seasons at Newbridge Academy in Dartmouth, NS before being promoted to associate head coach of both the U16 and U18 teams in his final season at Newbridge. Last season, Anthony served as an assistant coach with both of our U18 and U16 Boy’s teams at Mount Academy. Anthony will also serve as lead skills instructor for Mount Academy’s hockey skills programs which ranges from grades 6 to 12.
