The Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Winkler Flyers have named Harry Mahesh their new assistant coach.
Mahesh, 32, spent the past two seasons as the head coach of the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy’s Female U18 Prep team, guiding them to a 31-14-4 record, as well as a berth in the 2019 CSSHL Female Varsity Division Championship Game.
The Vanderhoof, B.C. product was an assistant coach of the Banff Hockey Academy Midget Varsity team during the 2016-17 season.
Mahesh played three seasons for the Flyers from 2006 to 2009.
