Evan McFeeters hired as U18 Prep Head Coach at the Prairie Hockey Academy

Evan McFeeters is the new U18 Prep Head Coach at the Prairie Hockey Academy!

Evan brings a wealth of experience and success from his coaching career, particularly at the Jr.A and WHL levels, including an AJHL and Centennial Cup Championship. After 8 seasons of coaching in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with the Canmore Eagles, Brooks Bandits and Sherwood Park Crusaders, Evan most recently coached in the Western Hockey League with the Regina Pats.

“We are thrilled for the opportunity to add the experience, leadership, and coaching of Evan to our team at PHA. He has been a part of some high performance and successful cultures in the past. He is very detailed in his approach to individual player development and his preparation. What stuck out to me right away when I first met Evan was the professionalism that he carries himself with and his preparation for every meeting. I have no doubt that Evan will do an excellent job with the development of the student athletes under his care,” said Prairie Hockey Academy President, Justin Simpkins

Evan also has experience coaching with Hockey Canada, having served as an assistant coach for Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge in 2022. We are confident he will continue to elevate our U18 team, our players, and the entire PHA program within our High-Performance environment here at PHA. Evan will begin his duties as Head Coach of our U18 Prep team in early July 2024.

Please join us in welcoming Evan McFeeters to the Prairie Hockey Academy.
