Bowling Green Adds Two CSSHL Alumni

Luke Pfoh and Brandon Santa Juana have committed to Bowling Green State University for the 2023/24 season.

Pfoh spent the 2020/21 season in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with the BWC Academy U16 Prep team. In five games the Port Moody, BC forward recorded four goals and one assist. Pfoh would join the Cranbrook Bucks for the 2021/22 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season, recording 32 points in 43 games. This past season Pfoh had 17 points in 45 games with the Bucks.

A forward from Langley, BC, Santa Juana played three CSSHL seasons with Delta Hockey Academy. He joined the program in 2015/16 for the U15 season, recording 33 points in 24 games. Santa Juana would play in 28 U15 Prep games the following season, recording 23 points. In 2017/18 he would tally 52 points in 27 U16 Prep games, good enough for second on his team and eighth in the league.

Santa Juana would join the Surrey Eagles for the 2018/19 BCHL season, recording 22 points in 53 games. He would play two more seasons with the Eagles, adding  62 points in 74 games with the team. In 2021/22 Santa Juana joined the Salmon Arm Silverbacks where he has played the last two BCHL seasons. In 106 games with the team he has recorded 94 points.

Located in Bowling Green, OH, Bowling Green State University is an NCAA Division I program competing in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Conference.
