Wheat Kings Sign Pair

The Brandon Wheat Kings have signed a pair of former CSSHL student-athletes to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements.

A forward from Calgary, AB, Ryan Boyce spent two seasons with Edge School. He would join their U15 Prep team for the 2022/23 CSSHL season, tallying 37 points in 30 games leading to the Wheat Kings selecting him in the fifth round, 94th overall at the 2023 WHL Draft.

The following U17 Prep campaign Boyce recorded 28 points in 29 games with Edge.

Max Lavoie joined PCHA for the 2020/21 CSSHL U15 Prep season. The following U16 Prep campaign he would tally 9 goals and 17 assists in 34 games.

The Victoria, BC defenseman spent the 2024/25 season in the MJHL with the Winkler Flyers, recording 32 points in 58 games.
