The Penticton Vees have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes Hiroki Gojsic and Gabriel Guilbault for the 2022/23 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season.
A second-round pick, 23rd overall at the 2021 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft by the Victoria Royals, Gojsic played two CSSHL seasons with St. George’s School. The Langley, BC forward recorded seven goals and three assists in six U15 Prep games in 2020/21. He would lead the U18 Prep team in scoring in 2021/22, scoring 29 goals and 22 assists in 32 games.
Selected in the third-round, 61st overall by the Kelowna Rockets in the 2021 WHL Draft, Guilbault joined BWC Academy in 2019/20, tallying 19 goals and 23 assists in 30 U15 games while being named the CSSHL U15 Most Valuable Player. The Burnaby, BC defenseman would record seven assists in six U15 Prep games during the 2020/21 campaign, before adding 20 points in 30 U18 Prep games in 2021/22. Guilbault would add two assists in five playoff games that season as BWC Academy would be crowned CSSHL U18 Prep League Champions.
