RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 Prep twin brothers Corbin and Jaxsin Vaughan have signed Western Hockey League (WHL) Standard Player Agreements (SPA) with the Regina Pats after they were selected nine picks apart in the 2021 WHL Draft.
Corbin was selected in the second round, 30th overall in the 2021 WHL Draft. Now in his third Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) season, and first with the RHA Kelowna U18 Prep team, the Merrit, BC defenseman has 6 points in 12 games this season. In his previous two seasons at the U15 Prep level, Corbin tallied 6 goals and 18 assists in 30 games.
Jaxsin was selected in the first round, 21st overall having tallied 9 goals and 5 assists in 15 U18 Prep games this season. The forward had 18 points in 5 U15 Prep games last year, and 26 points in 27 games during the 2019/20 season.
The two brothers made their WHL debut with the Pats against the Edmonton Oil Kings in a 6-5 win on December 27, 2021.
